Acadian Industrial Textiles carries both woven and knitted tennis windscreen. Our solid green and solid black woven windscreens are made from polypropylene (PP) and are available in lathe leno and solid constructions. The lathe leno construction is by far the most popular of all the windscreens we carry. Lathe leno windscreens are UV stabilized and offer superior ventilation. Polypropylene windscreens will not rot and resist mildew. To clean a PP windscreen simply spray them down with a garden hose. Solid weave PP windscreens provide a more intimate environment with up to 87% sight barrier. Both solid and lathe leno weaves are UV stabilized to provide many years of use.

Black knitted tennis windscreen is made from polyethylene (HHPE). The advantage of a knitted windscreen is at installation. Knitted HDPE windscreens can be installed with wire ties, “S” hooks, hog rings or the traditional tape and grommets. As with PP, polyethylene windscreens are UV stabilized, will resist mildew and will not rot. If torn or pierced, knitted windscreens will not ravel.
