Insect & Bird/Hail Netting
Integrated Pest Management to block insect, birds and hail from crops.
HDPE insect netting protects crops and seedlings from the infestation of small insects such as whiteflies, and aphids. More open construction netting is manufactured for the containment of bees for cross-pollination of flowering plants. Acadian’s HDPE insect screening is also manufactured into seed bags used for the propagation of new plants and crops, and it may be used in the early growing stages of shrimp and shellfish.​

BIRD AND HAIL NETTING
Exclusive Acadian product, knitted HDPE reinforced netting.
​
Protecting plants or fish from birds and harsh weather, Acadian’s netting is lightweight enough to avoid damaging crops but flexible and strong enough to withstand stress and pressure from high winds. ​Available in different levels of shade to match your climate: 30% black for protection from sunburn or 15% white to block less sun and still reduce heat under the fabric. Both fabrics use either knit or Leno construction to limit movement of yarns to simplify installation and keep yarns in place once hung.
